When a Setup adds a person, pet or item — a new puppy, a car, a property — it now offers a proper list to pick from if you've already added one, instead of always creating a fresh profile. Pick an existing one to link it up, or add a new one right there if it's new.
Installing "Getting a Puppy (UK)" for Murphy, who you added last week? Pick him from the list instead of ending up with a second, empty "Murphy".
Each person, pet and item on your dashboard now lists its two most recent updates — a new log, a booked event, a cost or subscription change — so the top of your dashboard reflects what's actually happening, not just who's in the household.

When you create a household, Daisy now asks what's going on for you right now - a new baby, a house move, a child starting school - and sets it all up in one go. You arrive at a dashboard that already has the tasks, dates and costs, with reminders ready. If nothing big is happening, one tap takes you straight in.
Sign up, choose "Moving home", enter your completion date, and your first week is already mapped out.
The dashboard's getting-started card has been rewritten around what actually matters: filling your household, getting your first reminder, and getting an answer from Daisy. Setting notification preferences — which never changed what you'd receive — has been dropped from the list.
Install a Setup for something coming up and you'll likely tick off both "Fill your household" and "Get your first reminder" in one go.
Accepting an invitation now works whether you sign in with a password or choose "Email me a link" — the invite is no longer forgotten partway through. And when a link really has expired, the page now tells you plainly and offers a clear way forward instead of a dead end.
Open an invite, choose "Email me a link" instead of setting a password, and you land straight on the invitation once you click through.
Every ready-made Setup in the gallery now has its own hand-drawn cover illustration — warm ink and a splash of daisy yellow — so you can spot the one you need at a glance.

Tasks on a project's page now work like tasks everywhere else — complete them with a tap, edit or archive them with undo, and see who's assigned. Costs gained edit, duplicate and archive, plus how often they recur and their next date. And you can finally add and edit the project's events without leaving the page.
Open "Prepare for baby", tick off "Book antenatal classes", fix the pram cost's amount, and add the hospital tour as an event — all in one place.
A Setup's page now lists everything it will create — grouped under the projects it sets up, with each item's type, amounts and costs, and when each thing lands, like "2 weeks after your due date". The preview before you confirm is grouped the same way, with the real dates and what each date means.
Open the New Baby setup and see the "Prepare for baby" project with its tasks, the one-off costs like a pram with their amounts, and "Register the birth — Due 6 weeks after your due date" before you tap Set up.
You can now add a cost straight from a project's page — it's attached to that project automatically — and each project has a new "Reflect in budget" switch. Turn it off for one-off efforts like a house move or wedding and that project's costs drop out of your household budget summary, trend and forecast, while the project's own totals still show everything.
Open your "Kitchen renovation" project, add its costs there, then switch off "Reflect in budget" so the reno doesn't distort your normal monthly outgoings.
The Setups shelf now shows every bundle in one tidy grid you can filter by life event — tap a category like "New baby" or "Moving home" to narrow it down instead of scrolling the whole marketplace, and each Setup carries a small label showing which life event it's for. Setup descriptions also show bold text properly now, instead of stray asterisks.
Looking for the house-move bundle? Open Setups, tap "Moving home", and only those Setups show.
The “Connected to” panel on a person, pet, item or project now describes exactly what each thing is — so its summary line always matches the tabs below it — and folds up repeats instead of listing them all.
Open your dog’s page and a dozen recurring walks now show as one line, “Morning walk ×12”, instead of filling the panel.
A repeating event now shows as a single Upcoming reminder — its cadence and next date — instead of one row for every future occurrence, so renewals, deliveries and one-offs are easy to see again. Expand a series any time to reach each occurrence and its own lead-time and email settings.
A weekly class shows as “Every week · next 16 Jul” with a “+10 more” you can open to tweak a single week.
Daisy now asks for your name when you set up a household, and shows readable names across members and activity instead of a chopped-up email.
Already signed up? Open Settings → Members and click "Add your name".
Adding a record, document, subscription or note to a project is now a quick search instead of a long dropdown, and you can add it to several projects one after another without reopening the picker. Project chips also keep their real name even if the project is later archived or marked done.
On a record, hit "Add to project", type a few letters of the project's name, and pick it — the picker stays open so you can add a second project straight after.
Add and edit dialogs — like Records, Events, Costs and Subscriptions — now scroll within the window and stay wide enough to read comfortably, so the Save button is always reachable, even on longer forms.
Adding a home insurance record with lots of fields filled in? The dialog scrolls neatly and "Add" stays in view instead of getting pushed off the bottom.
There's a new Help space where you can ask Daisy how anything works and get answers from a proper help centre. If something's broken or you've an idea, Daisy can log it straight to our team, and you can see the status of anything you've raised. You can also give any feature a quick thumbs up or down.
Stuck linking your calendar? Open Ask Daisy, ask "how do I subscribe to my calendar?", and if it can't sort it, let it log the issue for the team.
You can now see everything a person, document, cost or project is linked to, right on its page. And before you archive something, Daisy shows what it's connected to first — archiving is always safe, since nothing is deleted and everything stays linked, so you can restore it anytime from Settings → Archive.

Setups already pointed you to a few useful links. Now they show every helpful official or partner link a Setup includes — including ones tied to a specific to-do — and each one is labelled with the task it helps you with, so you can tell at a glance which link is for what.
Open the "New baby" Setup and you'll find a link like "Claim Child Benefit (GOV.UK)" marked as being for the child-benefit to-do.
Every project can now be downloaded as a tidy zip: your documents keep their original file types, notes come out as markdown, each record gets its own folder with its files, and a README lists the tasks, costs, events and subscriptions.
Open a project, hit "Download zip", and hand the whole bundle to your solicitor or tuck it away as a backup.
Setups has grown from a handful of life events into a full marketplace. New this round: family holidays abroad, Christmas, kids' birthday parties and seasonal home maintenance. There are the money deadlines that carry real penalties, like Self Assessment and the end of the tax year. More big life events too — selling a house, moving abroad, starting secondary school or university, getting married, renting your first place, and caring for an elderly parent. Gentler ones are handled with care and no ads, like separation or losing a pet. And there are quick ones like learning to drive, going self-employed, getting a puppy and approaching retirement. Some Setups recur: set up a fresh one every trip, birthday or tax year, and give each its own name so they don't get muddled.
Set up "Family Holiday" for your July trip to Portugal and name it "Portugal 2026"; next year set up another for France — both sit side by side in My setups, each dated to its own departure.
The assistant can now attach tags for you, matching an existing tag by name or creating a new one, and it can filter what it shows you by tag too.
You might say "tag all the school forms Term 1" or ask "show me everything tagged Holiday".
Create coloured tags in Settings and attach them to records, documents, subscriptions, notes and people. Each shows up as a coloured chip, and a quick picker lets anyone add or remove tags right from the list. On the Records, Documents and Subscriptions pages, tap a tag to narrow the list to just that tag — the filtered view has its own shareable link. Tags also appear as their own nodes on a person, pet or item's map, and you can jump straight to a tag from search.
You might tag the boiler warranty and the plumber's invoice both "Kitchen", then tap the "Kitchen" chip on Records to see just those.
The assistant can now answer questions about one project directly — its progress, tasks, events and costs, the records, documents, subscriptions and notes linked to it, who's involved, and its upcoming timeline, all in one answer. Every project also has its own "Ask Daisy" button that opens the assistant already focused on it — Daisy starts oriented on how it's going, prefers that project when it looks things up, and links new tasks, events and costs to it automatically.
Ask "How's the house extension going?" and Daisy pulls up its progress, what's left, and what's coming up next — or open the project, tap Ask Daisy, and say "add a task to chase the builder on Monday" to have it land straight in that project.
A project can now gather everything that belongs to a goal, not just its tasks, costs and events. Give it a description, tag in any record, document, subscription or note straight from its own page, add people, pets and belongings as participants, and see everything with a date lined up on one timeline.
Attach your mortgage record and buildings-insurance subscription to a "House extension" project, add the dog as a participant so the kennel booking stays in view, and watch both renewal dates line up on the project's timeline.
When you confirm something in your inbox, you can now file it under a project — a goal like a house extension or a move — so everything for that goal gathers in one place. If the letter or receipt clearly names the goal, Daisy pre-selects the project for you; otherwise pick one, or leave it unlinked.
Forward a builder's quote for your extension and, when you confirm it, Daisy already has "House extension" selected — tap Confirm to file it there.
New Setups let you install a ready-made bundle of tasks, projects, reminders and costs for a big life event — a new baby, a house move, a child starting school — all dated to your own timeline. Tell Daisy your date and details, preview exactly what will be added, and set it up in one tap. Manage or remove any setup later from My setups.
Open Setups, choose "New Baby (UK)", enter your due date, and Daisy schedules "register the birth" for 42 days after — alongside everything else you need to prepare.
When a forwarded letter, photo or Telegram drop arrives in your inbox, everyone in the household now gets a notification to review it, rather than having to spot the count on their own. Turn on notifications for a device in Settings and these alerts arrive there in near real time, even with the app closed. On iPhone or iPad, add Daisy to your Home Screen first and Settings now tells you how.
Forward a renewal letter from your phone's mail app and get a notification a moment later inviting you to confirm it in your inbox.
Sign-in links, sign-up confirmations and password-reset emails now come from team@updates.daisy.family through a dedicated mail service, so they arrive quickly and land in the inbox rather than being delayed or dropped.

Marking a task done now strikes it through the instant you tap, and your tasks are split into To do and Done so finished ones stay in view before tidying themselves away after a week. If you complete or archive something by mistake, a quick Undo appears. The same satisfying feedback now runs across routine steps, reminders and finishing your household setup.
Tap a task on the Tasks page and watch it cross off straight away, then tap Undo in the toast if you changed your mind.
Pick a friendly address for your household to forward letters and bills to, like the-houghtons@in.daisy.family, instead of the long automatic one. You choose it once during setup or from Settings → Members, and it's shared by everyone in the household. Your original address keeps working too.
Set yours to the-houghtons@in.daisy.family, then forward a renewal letter to it from any mail app and Daisy files it into your inbox to confirm.
⌘K search matches meaning, not just the exact words — so you can find something even when you don't remember what you called it. The assistant uses the same recall to answer questions from across your records, costs and documents.
Search 'car cover' and your motor insurance record shows up, even though it never uses those words — or just ask Daisy 'when's the car insurance up?' and it finds the policy for you.
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows), or tap Search in the top bar, to instantly look across your whole household at once — a person, a record, a document, a cost, a subscription, a task, an event, a project or a note — with results grouped by type. Pick one and Daisy jumps straight to it.
Trying to remember where the boiler warranty went? Hit ⌘K, type 'boiler', and the matching record and document show up together — press Enter to open it.
Turn on notifications on this device from Settings → Notifications and Daisy can buzz your phone when a reminder is due, even with the app closed. It's per-device, so switch it on wherever you want the alerts, and tapping the notification opens straight to your inbox.
On your phone, open Settings → Notifications, turn on 'Notifications on this device', and when a car insurance renewal is due Daisy pushes you a heads-up you can tap to open.
Adding a record now offers one-tap UK templates — MOT, vehicle tax, car and home insurance, council tax, TV Licence, and boiler service. Each fills in the type, suggests a renewal date, and sets the right reminder lead time, so insurance nudges you 21 days ahead to compare before it renews rather than the usual 14. Daisy also spots these in scanned or forwarded letters and sets the lead for you.

Every household now has its own email address — forward a renewal letter, bill, or reminder to it from any phone or mail app and Daisy reads it and drops a draft into your inbox to confirm, just like a photo or a Telegram forward. Only messages sent from a household member are accepted. Find your address in Settings → Members and copy it with one tap.

Daisy now qualifies as a proper installable app on Android and Chrome — add it and it sits on your home screen with its own icon, opening full-screen like any other app instead of a browser tab. Long-press the icon for quick shortcuts straight to Capture or your Inbox.
On Android Chrome, tap the menu → "Add to Home screen", then long-press the new Daisy icon for shortcuts to Capture and Inbox.
When you photograph a letter or receipt for your household's Telegram assistant, or ask it to note something down, the reply now carries Confirm and Dismiss buttons. Tap Confirm to save it straight into Daisy or Dismiss to drop it — no need to open the web app. Anything that needs a closer look still links you to your inbox.
Send a photo of a renewal letter to your Telegram bot and tap Confirm to file it as a record without leaving the chat.
Invite someone with their email address and Daisy now sends them a warm, branded invitation with a one-tap button to join — the copy-and-share link still works too. Every member can have a proper name (set it in Settings → Members, or when you accept an invite) and that name now shows everywhere Daisy used to show a raw email address. And each reminder in the daily digest email now links straight to the right part of the app.

Every person, pet and item now has a Map tab — a living constellation of everything linked to them: who's involved, what it costs, which records cover it, and what's coming up. Filter by People, Money, Records or Upcoming, and click any point to see its details and jump straight to the full entry.
Open the family car's page → Map to see Michael and Sarah, its insurance and MOT records, running costs, and the upcoming MOT booking, all in one view.
Paste another calendar's secret iCal address into Settings → Household → Shared calendars and its events show up on the Daisy calendar, refreshed every hour. Works with Google Calendar's secret address, Outlook's published links and any other ICS feed — the events stay read-only in Daisy.
Add your partner's Google Calendar (Settings → Integrate calendar → “Secret address in iCal format”) and the school run, work trips and party invites all appear alongside your Daisy events.
Your assistant can change what's already in Daisy instead of only adding new things — move an event, reword a task, correct a pet's details, fix a renewal date — wherever you chat with it, in the app or on Telegram. Changes to money and official records ask for your approval in the app first.

The assistant now knows its way around the whole app — ask it how to do something and it points you to the right page, from subscribing to the calendar feed to linking Telegram. It's also clearer about what happens to what you tell it (costs and records wait for your approval, or land in the Inbox from Telegram), and questions like “what's coming up?” now look at upcoming events rather than old ones.
Ask “how do I get our calendar on my phone?” and it walks you to Settings → Household for the private feed — or ask “what's on next week?” and it lists the right events.
Daisy now has a dark theme — the same warm, calm look on charcoal instead of paper. It follows your device's light/dark setting by default, or you can pin it from the account menu.
Tap your avatar → Appearance → Dark, and Daisy switches over on every page — or leave it on System and it follows your phone's schedule.
New households now get a short series of getting-started emails over their first two weeks — and they pay attention to how far you've actually got. Finished setting up? You get tips on budgets and calendar feeds instead of nudges. Not started? Daisy suggests the one small next step.
Two days after joining, you get “Try this: photo one renewal letter” — unless your household has already captured a document, in which case Daisy skips straight past it.
Settings → Channels now offers a profile photo for your household's bot — your assistant's avatar on Daisy yellow, matching the Daisy app icon. Download it and hand it to @BotFather so your bot looks the part in Telegram.
Download the photo, send /setuserpic to @BotFather, choose your bot, and upload it — your assistant's face now shows on every Telegram chat.
Daisy's servers moved next door to its database and stopped re-checking who you are over and over on every page, so moving around the app — dashboard, calendar, tasks — now takes a fraction of the time it used to.
Settings → Household now has a private calendar feed link: paste it into Google Calendar or Apple Calendar as a subscription and every Daisy event — including repeating ones and any edits — shows up there too, staying current on its own. Anyone with the link can read it, so you can reset it any time to cut off an old copy.

When you confirm a cost from the inbox, Daisy suggests which subscription or record it's a payment for and lets you link it in one tap. Linked payments count as the real actual for that month, so the budget shows what you actually paid instead of the usual estimate.
Confirm "NETFLIX.COM £15.99" from an imported statement, link it to your Netflix subscription, and that month's budget shows £15.99 paid instead of the estimated amount.
Connecting your household's Telegram bot now walks you through @BotFather step by step and checks the token as you paste it. Linking your own Telegram shows a live countdown and flips to “linked” the moment you press Start — no refresh needed. Settings can also test the bot is still responding, and shows who in the household has linked.
Press “Link my Telegram”, tap “Open @YourFamilyBot and press Start” — the page confirms “You're linked to @YourFamilyBot” by itself.
While Daisy works on your Telegram message she now shows what she's doing: a typing hint, then a quiet status message that ticks through each step — checking the calendar, recording a cost — exactly like the web chat. It tidies itself away the moment her answer arrives.
Ask “what's on this week and what did we spend on the dog?” and watch “Checking the calendar ✓ / Checking costs…” update live until the answer lands.
If you've given your assistant its own name in Settings, it now uses that name in every corner of Daisy — the weekly review it runs for your household, the Telegram messages it sends you, and its replies when something isn't set up yet.

Snap the car insurance renewal letter to your bot from the sofa, and get a heads-up DM when Daisy notices the MOT is due.
Rescheduling is now a drag: pull an event up or down the week or day grid to a new time, drag its bottom edge to make it longer or shorter, or drop it onto a different day in the month view. Repeating events ask whether the change applies to just that one time, that time onward, or the whole series — the same choices as editing.
Drag Thursday's dentist appointment from 14:00 down to 16:00, or stretch swimming to end at 18:30.
The calendar now shows more than events: task due dates, record renewals (like MOT and insurance), subscription deliveries and project target dates each appear as their own colored layer, with toggle chips above the grid to show or hide each one — your choices are remembered. These items are read-only on the calendar; click one for a summary card with a link straight to its own page.
Toggle on Renewals to see the car insurance falling in half-term week, then click it to open your records.
The calendar now responds like you'd expect: click an empty slot in the week or day grid (or an empty day in the month) to start a new event with the time already filled in, and click any event for a detail card with edit and delete right there — including choosing whether a change applies to just one occurrence, this and following, or the whole series. Busy month days with more events than fit now link through to that day's full view.
Click Tuesday at 14:00, type “Dentist” and save — or tap next week's swim and edit just that one session.
The calendar is no longer just a month grid. Switch between Month, Week, Day and Agenda views, step back and forth with the arrows, and jump home with the Today button. Week and day lay events out on a real time grid — overlapping appointments sit side by side — and every view has its own link you can share or bookmark.
Open the week view on Sunday evening to see the shape of the school week, or send someone a link straight to a busy day.
The event form now has a "Reminder (days before)" field, so each event can carry its own lead time instead of the fixed 1-day default. Leave it blank and reminders behave exactly as before.
Set the MOT booking to remind you 7 days ahead so there's time to arrange the garage, while the school run stays at 1 day.
Calendar times are saved and shown in your household's timezone, wherever Daisy's servers happen to run. A 2pm appointment stays 2pm — on the month grid, the list, the dashboard and when you reopen it to edit — and repeating events no longer drift by an hour when the clocks change.
Set a weekly swim for 9:00 and it stays 9:00 all year, straight through the spring and autumn clock changes.
Events now carry their category's color: month-view chips get a tinted background and a colored edge, and the list view shows a small colored dot next to the category. Events without a category color look the same as before.
Give the School category a blue and Sport a green, and a busy week becomes scannable at a glance.
A repeating event no longer changes all-or-nothing. You can cancel just one occurrence, move one to a different day or time, or apply a change to this event, this and following events, or all events — like a full calendar. Reminders follow suit: a cancelled occurrence stops reminding, and a moved one reminds on its new day.
Swimming is every Monday, but next week's session moves to Wednesday — change just that one and the rest of the series stays put.
Repeating events can now do what you'd expect from a proper calendar: pick the exact weekdays, repeat on the 2nd Tuesday or last Friday of the month, and stop after a set number of times instead of only on a date.
Set football training to repeat every Mon and Wed until the end of term, or book club on the 1st Friday of each month, 6 times.
New households now see a short checklist on the dashboard nudging them through the essentials — add a person or pet, capture a document, ask the assistant something, and set notification preferences. It tracks real progress (no separate box to tick), quietly hides once everything's done, and can be collapsed or hidden any time.
Sign up, and the dashboard shows "Getting started · 1 of 5" until you've tried the core parts of Daisy.
A loose file in Documents can become a record in one tap. Its expiry date and person carry over, so it starts reminding you before it lapses instead of just sitting in the vault.

A record — a policy, certificate or warranty — can now hold several documents instead of just one, so this year's renewal letter doesn't replace the original policy. Removing a document from a record only unlinks it; the file stays safe in Documents.
